Google Gadgets
Google have announced the availability of gadgets for use on personal websites and blogs. Up until now the gadgets available have included Google Pages, Google Desktop and the ability to make a Personalised Homepage on Google. Now web publishers can put mini-applications onto their site by copying and pasting some HTML directly into the website.

There is a wide range of dynamic content available, everything from the latest news headlines, to Bollywood movie information. This means you can add gadgets that compliment your site nicely. For example if you provide travel information you can also offer your visitors the chance to check the weather or look up directions.
For example, if you have a real estate web site, you could integrate Google Maps into your property searches. On the other hand, if you run a travel site, you may want to provide the local weather forecast. Developers can also learn about how to create their own gadgets.
