NKUT is an initiative led by Best Friends Animal Society that brings together passionate individuals, city shelters, and an entire coalition of animal welfare organizations to end the killing of dogs and cats in shelters throughout the entire state of Utah by the year 2019. Our plan is straightforward: provide spay/neuter services where they are needed most so that fewer animals go into shelters, and increase adoptions so that more animals are placed into new homes. Step by critical step, we believe that together, we can bring the number of pets killed in Utah shelters to zero. The Best Friends Pet Adoption Center in Sugar House is a lifesaving force in Salt Lake City, dedicated to giving homeless pets their best chance to find forever homes. And it’s a great place for you to find your new best friend. Each pet at the center comes from a local Utah shelter or our , and each one is microchipped, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and ready to go home with you after a short survey. The Utah Animal Adoption Center (UAAC) is a non-euthanizing animal shelter that rescues and finds homes for an average of 1,000 dogs and cats each year. UAAC has been dedicated to reducing the tragedies of pet overpopulation, the euthanasia of healthy adoptable pets, and ending animal suffering since 1983. NKUT Super Adoptions
