If interested in adopting a snake, Maria Gara aka The Snake Babe, is the owner/operator of Reptile Rescue and rescues all reptiles including snakes, which are available for adoption. After discovering people would adopt snakes from the organization and resell them for profit, a donation is now required and the amount will vary depending on if caging is needed. There will be a home visit, so those wanting to adopt a snake must live in the Las Vegas area, and the organization does not ship any pets. As part of the home visit, those planning to adopt must be able show that they are able to hold and handle the snake. All snakes eat pre-killed frozen/thawed rodents.
