Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit and no kill animal rescue based in Cincinnati and Staten Island, New York. We are proudly foster based, meaning our animals live in homes, not shelters. This differentiates us and allows us to more thoroughly get to know our animals, ensuring they are matched with suitable, screened adoptive homes which meet our high standards.CINCINNATI, Ohio - This week on Pet Pals, Eric Johnson and Jill Binzer joined us from the Animal Adoption Foundation in Hamilton. They brought two sweet puppies that need homes. Johnson also talked about the new low-cost spay/neuter clinic at their shelter. You can take your cat in for just $10.Cincinnati Lab Rescue is a 100% percent volunteer organization and depends on donations and adoption fees. Without this, we could not possibly sustain our organization. Thank you in advance!

Beyond adoptions (they take in more than 7,000 dogs and 9,000 cats annually, so there are plenty of pets that need homes), SPCA Cincinnati offers many other services: animal cruelty investigations, obedience training, humane education programs, and spaying/neutering, to name a few.Thank you for your interest in volunteering your time and talents to Greater Cincinnati’s largest animal adoption event! There are many tasks that we will need help with during the event including helping rescues bring animals in, greeting and assisting guests, keeping water bowls filled, distributing swag bags, helping new pet owners to their cars, etc. There are also plenty of volunteer opportunities leading up to the event like soliciting donations, distributing posters, stuffing swag bags, promoting the event on Facebook and helping with event set-up. As you can see, there are lots of ways to volunteer and we’re excited that you’ll be joining our team.
