Dr. DeAnna S. Douglas DVM graduated from UGA College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She has practiced in the Savannah area for 7 years and then opened her own clinic in 2009, Berwick Animal Hospital. Dr. Douglas loves the joy of getting to know pets and their families and seeing them through a healthy life. In her time away from the clinic, she's a proud mother of two boys and enjoys spending time with her family.

Dr. Holly Metts, a native to Savannah Georgia, is the veterinarian/owner of Forsyth Park Animal Hospital. The hospital is located on the garden level at 513 Whitaker Street, directly across from the fountain at Forsyth Park. Dr. Metts resides with her husband Robert Pace, daughter Payton, and two dogs Annie and Mahi. Her husband is a financial advisor at Suntrust Investments, and has been instrumental in the creation of the hospital.

After attending Savannah Country Day School she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia. The desire to pursue veterinary medicine was inspired from her family background in the medical field. In 2003 she graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Metts began her career in Rincon Georgia and for the last 8 years has been practicing in Savannah. Having now fulfilled her life long dream of owning her own clinic, she continues to practice medicine to the highest standards, always offering what is in the best interest of her patients. Her passion lies in the areas of internal medicine, osteoarthritis, pain management, as well as behavior and anxiety disorders. Dr. Metts truly believes that age is not a disease and strives to prolong and improve the quality of life for your senior pets. She prides herself in practicing progressive medicine, and is always eager to learn the latest advances in medicine and surgery.

Her hobbies outside of work include fishing, boating, crabbing, taking her dogs to the area sand bars, snow skiing, and spending quality time with friends and family.
