These sweet puppies arrived at Animal House shelter on Tuesday 12/13/16 after being found dumped in a ditch in southern Illinois. They had been used as bait dogs and suffered significant injuries. After being used for this horrific purpose, they were discarded like trash. Hero’s wounds are slowly healing- including broken teeth and a traumatic injury to his frontal sinus area that will result in permanent changes to his face. He also has a small non-functioning eye. His brother Triumph received the bulk of the injuries from their horrific past including suspected neurological damage, bite wounds around his head and ears, a missing eye and his entire muzzle has been pushed up and back. His face has significant swelling and our vet has recommended he see a specialist to have extensive testing done as he suspects significant skull/bone injury, brain damage and possibly deeper infection.

I`ve always been a huge fan of pet grooming and I like to switch places, to compare. Animal House Inc made a pretty good impression. It was a bit hard getting an appointment, but it was well worth it. The cut they made was very artistic, and my shith tzu was looking really proud, coming out. Luna’s House, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bettering the lives of animals and their people. Luna’s House thrives on working with individuals and with other organizations in the local and regional community to promote widespread humane education and respect for animals.Luna's House routinely works with cats; dogs; various small mammals including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice, and chinchillas; reptiles; and birds. Luna's House accommodates direct surrenders from animal guardians on a case-by-case basis (by appointment), and is always working with local shelters to take in animals who may otherwise not get the second chance at a happy home they so deserve.Luna’s House existed solely as a network of foster homes following its incorporation as a non-profit until the establishment of the Luna’s House Animal Care and Education Center (ACEC). As of January 2016, over 2,250 companion animals of all species have been adopted out through Luna's House. The rescue has averaged approximately 300 adoptions a year... that’s 300 companion animals, as well as 300 adoptive homes, that have been served annually via direct adoption services. Luna's House also assists animal guardians with education on the proper care of their pets, veterinary references, behavioral modification suggestions, and many other resources that improve the life of both the animals and the humans involved. We organize our day care and boarding dogs into playgroups, based on our individualized assessment of size, temperament, activity level, etc., so that they spend their time with other dogs and staff members who create the kind of experience that is best for your pet's unique needs. Dogs are instinctively pack animals, so they naturally acclimate to being part of a group, and as domesticated animals they thrive on the active attention and play provided by our caring staff. If your dog were capable of telling you he "had a great time," that's the type of experience we provide at The Animal House, Inc.Dogs and cats that attend The Animal House, Inc. must be free of fleas, ticks, and ear mites. If your pet is found to have fleas or ticks, we will bathe them with our flea and tick shampoo at your expense. We used Custom WordPress Development to incorporate an event calendar and staff pages that will be easy for the Animal House staff to maintain internally without compromising the design. Through our process, we also custom design each mobile site – allowing us to ensure that the “Donate” button remained front and center no matter the device.
