The Humane Society of Decatur & Macon County is an all volunteer, not-for-profit organization that depends on donations and fund raising events to operate. We are a no-kill facility. Most of the animals who come to us come from the local Animal Shelter. We rescue those animals and nurse them back to health and then look to give those animals good, loving homes like yours. The Humane Society originated in 1923.Make a Difference – Volunteer
