You may license your pet in person at the Denver Animal Shelter located at 1241 Bayaud Ave in Denver. Please bring your pet’s rabies vaccination certificate and spay/neuter certificate (if applicable) with you.

Lost pets brought to the Denver Animal Shelter without identification are held for five calendar days. Animals with identification are also held for five calendar days while their owners are contacted. Our online database is updated daily. After the five day hold, animals will be evaluated for adoption or transfer.
