Pet Shop Boys - British synthpop duo formed in 1981 in London. Pet Shop Boys (translated as "The guys from the pet store") is one of the most commercially successful and fruitful UK bands, recording dance music over the last thirty years, they have released over forty singles (20 of them fall into the top ten UK charts) 12 studio albums (all of them were in the top 10 of the British charts, ranking first through ninth place), as well as many joint recordings with other artists.
