Besides the daily rescuing, care and rehabilitation, the shelter’s workers strive to address the problem of stray pets on a broader scale through education and sterilization programs that are run by the center itself or in collaboration with other welfare organizations. The center shares a common goal with these organizations to reduce the number of unwanted domestic animals in the area and to encourage volunteering, as well as teaching proper care, the importance of sterilization and humane treatment of animals.

-The Animals' Savior Copyright-Jim Willis 1999 Animal Rescue Center was formed in 1997 and became a non-profit organization (501c3) in 1998. A.R.C. is a no-kill, non-profit organization made up of volunteers and are supported solely by donations and adoption fees . (Feline: $125 - $175.00) (Canine: $125.00-$250.00). Your tax-deductible gifts are greatly appreciated. The donations and adoption fees keep the animals up to date on shots, includes getting them spayed/neutered, microchipped, medication as needed, food and shelter. Our administrative staff is also comprised of volunteers and do not receive compensation for their efforts. 100% of the adoption fee and donations help cover the cost of vet care before you adopt the pet. We do have the right to deny an adoption if we feel the person does not meet our organization's adoption criteria.Savea Life Pet Rescue would like to thank pilot Michael Young for hisrecent volunteer work for our organization. Michael used his personalplane to pick up numerous puppies from a high-kill shelter in Alabamaand transport them to our rescue here in Florida. All of these puppies have now been adopted into loving homes! The Utah Animal Adoption Center (UAAC) is a non-euthanizing animal shelter that rescues and finds homes for an average of 1,000 dogs and cats each year. UAAC has been dedicated to reducing the tragedies of pet overpopulation, the euthanasia of healthy adoptable pets, and ending animal suffering since 1983. We are a group of volunteers whose goal is to save the lives of homeless dogs suffering in high-kill shelters, as well as owner-surrender dogs who need to be re-homed due to unfortunate circumstances. We are not a shelter, and we have no central location for the dogs we rescue. We pull dogs from various shelters and provide foster homes until they are adopted. In doing so, we hope to provide an alternative to the purchase of puppy mill and pet store dogs, thereby reducing the demand for, and ultimately, the supply of, such dogs. We strive to match each dog with the right family after the dog has been observed in a foster home.
