It is our goal to work with the Tallahassee/Leon Community Animal Service Center (the shelter), Leon County Animal Control, and local rescues to achieve a 90% or better save rate. We also intend to convince the City of Tallahassee leaders to officially adopt the No-Kill Equation.ECAH Animals, Inc is not a public animal shelter. We are a non-profit, no-kill animal sanctuary. Because we do not euthanize any of the animals in our care due to space limitations, our intakes are based on the number of animals adopted out. To learn more about our efforts please visit the page.

For more information on how you can help us save neglected animals here in and around the Tallahassee/Leon County area please visit our page.

IMPORTANT: If your pet has not been altered, PLEASE spay or neuter before adopting him or her into a new home. There is assistance available that makes it very inexpensive for you to make sure that your pet does not contribute to the pet overpopulation epidemic and altered pets are more attractive to new owners. is available from several organizations in Tallahassee.TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Tomorrow from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tallahassee Animal Services is waiving adoption fees on all animals. Traditionally, fewer shelter animals find homes this time of year. Consequently, the Tallahassee-Leon Community Animal Service Center (ASC) is filled to capacity with more than 120 kittens, cats, puppies and dogs waiting to be thankful for a loving family and a forever home. Tallahassee, FL - An organization that teamed up with the Leon County Animal Shelter to increase adoption and decrease the number of animals euthanized is now dissolving that relationship.Check out the Adoption Folder given to every family that adopts a new family member from the Tallahassee Animal Service Center. Thanks to all the sponsors that make it possible for us to provide this valuable information to our adopters!
